One Dollar Foundation is a 501c3 Non-Profit
Organization established in the United States of America
with a two-pronged mission to tackle migration as well its
root causes. The primary purpose involves offering a
softer landing or hospitable reception to immigrants from
Africa, Asia and the Middle East through targeted
programs upon arrival in their new settings in the United
States of America. As a prospective mission, the
Foundation will project to nip in the bud the causes of
migration especially from Africa, by addressing the root
causes of migration. One Dollar Foundation is premised
on the philosophy of ‘little that make an impact.’ To
deliver vital services to immigrants, we believe that we don’t
necessarily need to mobilize big money in one seating.
Hence the One Dollar Foundation concept. For the
foundation to deliver, it will depend on the goodwill of
donors and well-wishers.
The purpose of One Dollar Foundation is to outline a
comprehensive plan for the resettlement of immigrants in the American society. The increasing global migration has led to the displacement of millions of individuals, and it is crucial to ensure their successful integration into their new communities.
ODF aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters the social, economic, and cultural integration of immigrants, ultimately leading to their overall well-being and the enhancement of community cohesion. By addressing the challenges faced by immigrants in their new environment, ODF seeks to facilitate their successful integration, foster social cohesion, and promote mutual understanding among diverse communities. ODF will involve collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations, local communities, and immigrants themselves to create a welcoming and inclusive society.
